OBW - Compassion

The Theme at OBW obw-141-compassion is Compassion.
This photo is of my child during her Sports Day. She wasn't well on that day but she insists on running. After her 4x4 800 m race, she collapsed. She and her team won Silver Medal despite her condition.
Here she was being given assistance by the Medical Assistant, Amir. As a MA, he is very compassionate in giving Medical care to those in need. It was unfortunate that many girls collapse that morning more due to the heat.

Markings

We went for dinner at Sweetree last night and as always I like the decorations at the restaurant.They were designed and handcrafted by the owner Jutine Jin. Here are just 2 examples.

Bright - OBW 131

The theme at OBW is Bright. Since Chinese New Year is coming, bright red lanterns are on display at the shopping malls. I like this one very much.

OBW 130 ~ Blue

The theme for this week at http://our--beautiful--world--365.blogspot.my/ is BLUE. I can think of Blue Skies (very, very cliched, right?), Blue Seas (another cliche!), Feeling Blue (wow? How to present that through pictures?) and a million others.

Here are a few pictures I took last Saturday (16 January 2016) during my daughter's Cross Country race. Happy to shout out that she won 3rd place for Upper Secondary, running for 7 km. I will not show her photo because she represents the Yellow house.

OBW 128 ~ Calm

The first prompt for Week 1 of January 2016 at our--beautiful--world is CALM. There are many ways to interpret this word and almost always Water is the best option.

These photos were taken at Muara Tanjung Harapan, Klang, where we would normally come for seafood.

OBW 125 ~ White

For this prompt at OBW - White, I decided to showcase a very simple but common image, the White clouds. Well, after going through weeks of hazy period, I realize how wonderful it is to see blue skies and white clouds. Never again will I take things for granted. These are just simple things in life, but when it slipped from our sight, we know how valuable they are.

 

I was walking back to office when I looked up at the sky. It was amazing to see the white clouds against the blue skies once again.

OBW 123 ~ Stone

When I look at the title I wasn't sure whether it was rock or stone here mean the same thing. Anyway, these were photos taken during our Korean trip where we visited the Jeju Floklore & Natural History Museum. Sharing photos of the various Volcanic Rocks/Stones for OBW.
