Scrapbooking is one of my creative avenue and I love to participate in challenges to keep the mood going. This is what I did today.

Day 20 #FMSphotoaday - Something You Saw
I was on my way out for grocery shopping when I saw these young boys having a fun time playing football at the field across the road facing my house.
Day 19 #FMSphotoaday - Delicious
Being a coffee lover, I really like this brabd new coffee that my husband bought for us. He is planning to be a Stockist selling this coffee to anyone interested in trying new coffee brands in the market.

Kuala Lumpur's Changing Skyline - New vs Existing
Kuala Lumpur is developing at a really very fast rate. It can be scary actually. To me this is the latest skyline which I took after the sun sets from my office car park. I should feel proud, but deep in my heart I do feel sadness.
This photo has nothing to do with FMSphotoaday theme. I just want to try taking photos in the evening when opportunity arose.

Day 17 - Ready
I have 2 photos taken for this challenge. One is the laundry ready to be spinned and the other the bag ready to follow my daughter to her first school camp for 2013. Being a seasoned camper, she's very good at packing her tiny bag for an overnight stay.

Day 15 - An Ordinary Moment
It is a very common sight to see ladies or gentlemen carrying food back to office either for breakfast or for lunch. This was taken during lunch.
Day 14 - Something Yellow
There were so many things yellow around my office as well as the KLCC park. Somehow I like these yellowing leaves very much. This is a sign of changing leaves.

#FMSphotoaday Day 9 - Paper
Another favourite pastime of mine is Scrapbooking. As a result, I collect lots of scrapbook papers of different manufacturers to create Layouts. Here's a photo of a few pieces of the papers I shall be using soon.

#FMSphotoaday Day 8 - Something Beginning with T
Having an office on the fringe of the KLCC Park, the most obvious item to shoot were the Trees. After all, Trees start with the letter T. Then I remembered the Twin Towers, the most photographed building at KLCC. There are many spots one can take pictures of this majestic building. I chose many different spots that I had not tried before and I like this particular photo that I took from the stairs overlooking the fountain. So this is what I did during my lunch break.
#FMSphotoaday Day 7 - Street
This is the Street I use everyday to go to enter my office parking bay in the morning and to exit the parking bay in the evening. Normally it is congested in the morning and evening. This was taken around 1:00 pm and surprisingly, it is clear of traffic. Wish it is like this at all times.
#FMSphotoaday Day 6 - MINE
Being ill is no fun and that's what has been happening to me. I caught the flu bug, the fever and I hope I can stall the coughing. After 2 days, today I decided to pay the doctor a visit and as usual, I was given the much dreaded pills to take. Anyway, I am using this opportunity (the doctor said I'll be sleepy after taking those pills - but I am still up and my mind is racing wildly with ideas!) to catch-up on my photoaday upload. I still have issues with my IE blog upload, so I am using another server called Commodore Dragon. thanks to hubby who has no faith in IE.
Ok, back to photoaday. Today's topic is Mine. One of my favourite pastimes is Reading. Thus I have a fair bit of collection of Books and Craft Magazines. I am just showing one shelf of my collection of books:

#FMSphotoaday - Movement
Today's photos may not be close to the theme, ie movement. I just want to show what happened when there is a Water Crisis. The lorry brought our water supply this afternoon and we try our best to collect as much water as we can and fill up all the tubs we have available. At least, we have enough stock for bathing, ablution, for cooking; but can't say if that will be enough for washing the clothes. When the 2nd batch arrive later in the evening, I am going to collect the water for washing the clothes. Tomorrow, I shall collect more water again and save for Monday, too.

#FMSphotoaday - The View From Here
For today's theme, I just did a very simple shot from the window of my office. That's where I was standing and even though my view is nothing to shout about, at least I still have part of the greeneris from the park to feast my eyes on. This shot, even though not so sharp and crispy clear, is to show the progressive construction of the temporary car park to house the increasing number of cars that move into the KLCC area. At the time this photo was taken, it was also raining outside.

#FMSphotoaday - Photo of Heart or Heart-shape
Fot today's theme, I really had a good look around me to find something that really resembles the shape of a heart. When I saw this leave, I know I have hit the jackpot.

#FMSphotoaday - Something New
These photos are of my daughter's new school books. Today is her first day of Back to School and she is having mixed feelings about going to school. It does that to everyone who has been on a long vacation. She'll be in Secondary 2 now : thus she'll be getting new teachers and learn new things.

#FMSphotoaday - Today : Bukit Melawati Revisit
I decided to revisit Bukit Melawati after 2 years. After all I needed a break from housework and I just want to do some sightseeing and some photography. These photos were taken there. I also planned to post these photos for #FMSphotoaday challenge and the prompt is TODAY. What did I do today. Off course, after taking hundreds of shots, I have difficulty selecting the photos for this challenge. Think I'll post a few of my favourites:
Father and daughter taking a breather |
New addition to Bukit Melawati. As a result, there now exist territorial rights between these brown and unfriendly monkeys with those more friendlier black ones |
Seeing eye to eye. These black species are more friendly and approachable |
She can't help but tease this little creature |
The famous Lighthouse |
Foam Fire Wheel Extinguisher |
Her new 'pet'. At least she had all 20 minutes of this creature on her shoulder |
Sitting on the Bedrock. Legend has it that this bedrock was used to behead traitors. This bedrock is situated at the far end of the Sultan of Selangor's palace garden. |
She just had to do something different - doing a balancing act |
